Valentina Gilabert's Recovery after Attack Explained

Valentina Gilabert's lawyer, Fernando Pineda, appeared on 'Aristegui en Vivo' to explain the differences between the case of 'Fofo' Márquez, sentenced to 17 years in prison for attempted feminicide, and that of Marianne 'N'. He highlighted that the legislation varies significantly between adults and minors in cases of attempted homicide.

Valentina Gilabert, the young woman assaulted by the influencer Marianne 'N', has come out of the induced coma she was in and has been disconnected from mechanical ventilation, according to her family. In a statement, they indicated that Valentina, 18 years old, has been progressively recovering her ability to speak and swallow, but she still has drains in both lungs. They also noted that she was transferred from intensive care to an intermediate care unit.

Regarding the case, Valentina's lawyers have clarified the status of the legal situation against Marianne 'N'. On February 5, Marianne was arrested by the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City for assaulting Valentina with a sharp object. Ayrton Marín, Valentina's legal advisor, detailed in an interview that the attack occurred when a group of friends was at a house in southern Mexico City. While two friends went to a store, Marianne entered and stabbed Valentina 15 times, leaving her in critical condition.

In relation to the differences between the cases of Marianne 'N' and 'Fofo' Márquez, it was highlighted that legislation for minors does not include prison sentences for attempted crimes.
